A02 経済発展に資する社会ネットワークの多様性を阻む要因に関する政治経済分析

研究課題名:  タンザニアにおける「緑の革命」の実現可能性とその方策

研究の目的:人口が増大し、一人当たりの可耕地面積が減少する中で、サブサハラ・アフリカの国々が貧困削減を達成するには、穀物の土地生産性を高め る必要がある。本研究はコメに焦点を当て、東アフリカ最大のコメ生産国であるタンザニアにおける土地節約型の稲作技術(近代品種、化学肥料、畦畔の設置、 圃場の均平化、条植えの実施)の普及の決定要因と技術採用が稲作の生産性および収益に与える影響を、独自に収集した家計レベルのデータを用いて明らかにす ることを目的としている。
